I was up at 5.00am because the cat decided to wake me. She does that way too much. So I drove in darkness down to the river and set up my camera and tripod to wait for dawn. A basic camera just won’t allow you to take a shot like this, but a digital SLR gives you enough control to override the little computer that is screaming ‘not enough light’.
